
My-MOVE-Logistics tailored to value-added logistics
Value Added Deliveries is the specialty of facilitating logistics service provider Bernardt VAD. And this can be interpreted very broadly: from storage and delivery to installation, assembly, and setup. Over the years, the company has built an excellent (inter)national reputation in furniture logistics, project relocations, warehousing and handling, high-value logistics, archive and data management, and handyman services.
What once started with residential moving services evolved significantly. The expansion of activities over the years required a logistics approach that goes beyond traditional moving processes – and a software solution that reflects this reality.


Managing logistics in an increasingly complex environment
David Bernardt: “We had been working with ERP software from AGePe Logistics Software for many years. As our services evolved from traditional moving activities to value-added logistics and international project deliveries, the need arose for a solution that could better support this growth and complexity.”
Several needs emerged, including:
- More real-time insight into planning and order portfolio
- Further digitization of workflows and document flows
- Greater transparency and information sharing towards clients
Implementing My-MOVE-Logistics
In early 2025, Bernardt VAD went live with the My-MOVE-Logistics platform, built using Mendix. This specialized platform supports moving operations as well as furniture logistics and project installations.
David Bernardt: “Together with AGePe Logistics Software, we prepared the WMS implementation thoroughly. Internally, the project was led by two super users – our operations manager and sales support manager. They reviewed and adjusted our internal processes where necessary, safeguarded a uniform way of working among colleagues, communicated with your team, introduced new releases internally, and more. This approach ensures smoother adoption and builds internal expertise.”


Co-creation and agile collaboration
David Bernardt: “The new system also had to help us evolve toward a modern e-commerce experience, including track & trace and an online customer portal. You took on that challenge together with us. Further development happens in co-creation: we outline how we want it to work, you translate that into functional proposals, after which we fine-tune together. This agile way of working – with short feedback loops and continuous alignment – gives us confidence that the final result will perfectly match our operational reality.”
